Dinner may not be on the horizon if you waited to eat until after seeing US, so we will skip the meal recommendation this time around because this flick is absolutely filling on its own.

US is a great ride and is even more unique in this rebooted, calculated risk world of what is the modern multiplex. For obvious reasons US does not adhere, nor care about, the standard mix of easy answers or linear plot. For this alone we would love this and put it near the top of the year, but the performances, writing and direction are that of a master at work. Too often we can be prisoners of the moment and the belief that what we just saw was the best thing ever. Here - now is that time to give in to that belief. A masterwork.
