Spiderman: into the spiderverse

Sometimes as a dad you are late to the party and that is definitely the case here with Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse. 1. When I saw the title and release date I felt exhaustion for another superhero flick, especially another swing at Spiderman seemingly sandwiched in-between live-action Spiderman movies, Avengers and so on into the MCU. I have enjoyed the MCU flicks but going and going, seemingly each month it became to feel like a monthly bill almost. Kids - someday you will understand and this last line here is a piece of what Movie Night Masters is about: shifting perspectives, the value of our time and seeking originality.

There are times when quoting Dirty Dancing actually seems right: "When I'm wrong I say I'm wrong." I was wrong. Your next night out for the family should have this Spiderman flick right at the center of your universe, especially given the talent behind the scenes here from the creators of The Lego Movie, 21 Jump Street series - like I said, late to the game. The movie is a tremendous achievement and a wonderful in-theater experience and somehow feels as fresh and new as a summer blockbuster or fresh voice from years ago or viral buzz hit of today. Run. Walk. Sling your way there and watch the excitement of your ownself or your kids as you leave . . . And immediately want to go see it again and again.

WHAT'S FOR DINNER?

Whether you go before or after, go give that place you've passed by too many times but been a little intrigued about a shot. You will be glad you did. If you have been to all the spots like this, go give a nod to the New York setting and grab a slice and raise your web-slingers high in honor of this masterpiece.
